The Role
We’re looking for a teammate who cares deeply about meeting the needs of our user base and is eager to determine the best ways to engage, acquire and retain them. Those who bias towards action, are energized by the learning that comes with bold experimentation, and who exceed expectations when given the opportunity to significantly impact an early stage company will thrive at Provenance.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, with you will work alongside our CEO, Head of Marketing, Creative Designer and Head of BD on a regular basis. Your role will directly impact how the user acquisition strategy is developed and built out. Compensation for this role will be $100-$120K, plus an equity package commensurate with our early stage.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable digital marketing campaigns from the ground up that reach, engage, and convert new customers
- Optimize and test new ad creative, organic social creative, and landing pages, and rolling up your sleeves to collaborate on content creation, employing scrappy means of generating compelling creative assets (perhaps even starring in social asset experiments as you see fit!)
- Manage the monthly marketing budget across all paid channels to achieve growth targets at the target CAC, report weekly on performance metrics and spending
- Dive deep into the data on customer personas and cohorts to identify Provenance’s ideal customer, and direct the acquisition funnel to find more of them
- Work closely with product and marketing to refine and manage our offering, ideal customer profiles, market segmentation and targeted communication
- Plan and lead implementation of promotions and other value-perception drivers to improve customer adoption
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant B2C growth or performance marketing experience, preferably growing a significant customer base in a startup environment
- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills to analyze data and communicate results
- Strong experience with marketing attribution and conversion tracking, Google Analytics, and other marketing measurement tools
- Depth of knowledge of Meta and Google ecosystems; be comfortable diving into the ads platforms for hands-on campaign execution as needed
- Preferred experience with referral programs and influencer campaigns
